The composite shells develop micro-scratches or become dull due to friction and overly aggressive household products. Small chips appear on the edges after impacts, and exposure to UV rays can cause certain finishes to fade or yellow.

The powder-coated aluminum base can withstand kicks and vacuum cleaners. The coating may chip, sometimes revealing localized oxidation if the protection is compromised.

On tables, the laminate may become shiny or chip around the edges. 

Nothing is irreversible : careful preparation, targeted repairs, and appropriate finishes can restore the piece to its former glory—and, if you wish, add a touch of artistic flair.
